A message from the stars…
In the latter half of the 21st century, it finally happens. A radio signal from the stars – a signal of intelligent origin, from the nearby system of Epsilon Eridani.
We are not alone.
With no further contact, a mighty mission is conceived – to launch a manned vessel that can make the decades-long journey to another star. To make contact at last with another intelligent race.
But with earth in the grip of ecological and economic upheaval, can humanity sustain the effort required to undertake the greatest engineering project of all time?
“Mission” is a story of vision – of exploring spirit and adventure, set in a world of very real physics, and an all-too real tomorrow.
